Its time to get into shape!
Please don't tell me... I know... I have gotten fat
Ahh.... the want to be skinny again (never that I really was) with spring coming, warm weather around the corner and school and family life being so great; what a better time to start exercising? Time for me to get back into shape! The question is how do I do this so called "Getting back into shape?" Never really attempted it and on the few occasions I did; my diet and exercise quit after having to walk up the stairs more than once(haha) but I am back at it again and doing really well. I have been exercising for two weeks straight now and have seen awesome results. I have lost 11 pounds and counting. Just an FYI, for people that want to see how well If am doing. I am going to update my weight loss every week and put it on my blog page on the top right hand corner! I really am shooting for 200 but will go lower if I can and am hoping. For now I am going slowly but surely. If people wanna give me suggestions on diets/exercise programs feel free! I like to see how other people have lost weight or are eating healthier just leave me a comment!

How to Train Your Dragon!
Since I am starting to blog there are LOTS and LOTS of things that I wish I could tell about my life and my family but I will just start with yesterdays activity. Yesterday was an amazing day. I woke up and wanted to go do something and remembered that "How to Train your Dragon" had just came out in the movie theaters. I got all excited and looked what time it started: 11:15. I decided its going to be a son-daddy hang out day. Just Evan and I! I was so excited I couldn't stop thinking about me and Evan just being buds. When I got to the movie theater, they gave me 3d glasses because it was in 3d. I never realized that it would ever be in 3d. I was skeptical because I didn't think Evan would keep the glasses on through out the movie but he did! It was so funny that I had to get a picture of it afterwords.
Evan is SUCH a big kid now-a-days. He does things that surprise Tamie and I. This is definitely one of the things that surprised me. He was so into the movie that he couldn't eat his popcorn or drink his drink because every time he looked down to eat, the glasses would fall off his face. It was so stinking cute.
We than set off with mommie and aunt Hollie to find a stupid Maceys (which was like 40minutes away, it was annoying) Anywayz... our day was so much fun. I am proud to be a dad.
My want for an Eternal Family
As I sit here, thinking about all the things I am grateful for, the list seems to get larger and larger as seconds go by. The thought of a loving Heavenly Father that loves us, the thought of an eternal plan for us, the thought of an Eternal Family makes me grateful to be here on Earth. The thing that I am most grateful for is: My Eternal Family. I am really grateful for them. I have two beautiful kids and an amazing wife and I am thankful for the love that I get from all of them.
Since watching conference I have thought a lot about what I want as a father and as a husband. There is so much evil in this world today, negative thoughts, hate, despair and suffering. You get on Youtube or even the news and there is nothing but filth and anger. My want is to protect my children from all these things and pray that I am able to.
Last week for family home evening Tamie, Evan, and I put together an "Aragon Proclamation to the world" It was there to establish what we want as a family and what we want others to know about us. It reads as follows:
We as the Aragon Family commit whether be life or death (haha) to do these things as a family to promote the spirit of the Lord in our home:
-Read the daily scriptures
-Family prayer
-Listen to appropriate-uplifting music
-Diligently attend our church meetings every week
-Do activities as a family that will bring us closer together
-Have Family home evening every week
-Treat each other nicely and show respect
We do so, Amen
with our signatures attached to it.
I am really happy to see that we did this as a family. We are striving to keep this list true. One day we will be perfect but its going to take a lot of work. We want to be happy and have the spirit in our home and to be an Eternal Family. We don't want the worldly things. I hope that when our kids grow up they can really follow this Proclamation!
